Hamilton, AL

Hamilton is a city and the county seat of Marion County, Alabama, first incorporated in 1896. Established in the early nineteenth century by pioneers from neighboring southeastern states, the town has grown into the county's largest municipality. Hamilton is home to a branch campus of Bevill State Community College and the scenic Key Branch Nature Trail. The community preserves its cultural heritage through the annual celebration of Decoration Days at local cemeteries.
