About Harrington

Harrington is a city in Kent County, Delaware, situated within the Dover metropolitan area. Named for state chancellor Samuel Maxwell Harrington and home to the Delaware State Fairgrounds, which hosts an annual ten-day fair and the Harrington Raceway and Casino, the community had a population of 3,774 at the 2020 census and is served by the Lake Forest School District.
