About Harrisonville

Harrisonville is a city and the county seat of Cass County, Missouri, situated within the Kansas City metropolitan area. Founded in 1837 on land donated by Congress and named for Representative Albert G. Harrison, the community of approximately 9,970 features the Cass County Courthouse Square Historic District. Public education is served by the Harrisonville R-IX School District.
