Harveysburg, OH

Harveysburg is a quiet Warren County village with deep historical roots dating back to its Quaker founding in the 1820s. It holds a unique place in state history as home to the Harveysburg Free Black School, established in 1831 as the first free school for African American children in Ohio. Today, that restored brick schoolhouse serves as a local museum, and the village retains a relaxed, small-town atmosphere anchored by historic homes and quiet residential streets.

Outdoor recreation is a major draw here, with Caesar Creek State Park sitting right along the village border.
