Haubstadt, IN

Located just a short drive north of Evansville in Gibson County, Haubstadt offers the peace and charm of a quiet small town with an easy commute to city conveniences. Originally settled as a stagecoach stop called Haub's Station in the mid-1800s, this welcoming community of around 1,600 residents takes great pride in its deep German roots and rich local history. It is even home to The Log Inn, the oldest operating restaurant in Indiana, where Abraham Lincoln once stopped for a meal.
