Hebron Estates, KY

Hebron Estates is a Bullitt County home-rule city 17 miles south of downtown Louisville, a small Kentucky community that grew out of northern-county subdivisions rather than an old courthouse square. The 2020 census counted 1,014 residents. The city was incorporated in 1984, and the surrounding Hebron name comes from older landmarks: Hebron Presbyterian Church, Hebron Cemetery, Hebron Lane, and the former Hebron schoolhouse. There was never an old town of Hebron here, which makes the map's repeated name even more fun. The city feels stitched into the Louisville fringe, where a short drive can move you from subdivision streets to farms and old church grounds.

Kentucky Route 61 forms the western edge, and Preston Highway brings the Louisville-area connection close.
