Hermantown, MN

Hermantown is a city just west of Duluth, near the tip of Lake Superior. The first inhabitants of the area were Native Americans, and later settlement spread across the wooded high ground above Duluth. The Midway River and local family histories, including the Kohltses, are part of the community's older story. Today Hermantown is a practical Duluth-area suburb with schools, shopping, hockey culture, and access to northern Minnesota recreation. It feels spacious, cold-weather, and regional, with Lake Superior never far from the backdrop.
