About Hialeah Gardens

Hialeah Gardens is a Miami-Dade County city in the Miami metropolitan area, northwest of downtown Miami. It sits beside Hialeah and Medley, with U.S. Route 27 running along part of its edge. The city incorporated in December 1948 and for years had a more rural character, including horse raising as one of its main industries. Today Hialeah Gardens is a compact South Florida community with mostly single-story development and local schools served by Miami-Dade County Public Schools.
