Hilldale, PA

Hilldale is a Luzerne County census-designated place in Plains Township, set along North Main Street just northeast of Plains. The Susquehanna River is less than half a mile northwest, across from Wyoming and Forty Fort, so the river is the clearest way to place the community. North Main Street continues toward Jenkins Township and the Inkerman area, giving Hilldale a road connection beyond its small CDP boundary. Hilldale is a Pennsylvania river-side place defined by a township line, a main street, and the Susquehanna nearby.
