About Holdingford

Holdingford is a quiet small town in central Minnesota, located just north of Avon and about thirty minutes northwest of St. Cloud. Home to around 700 residents, it is best known for having the longest covered bridge in the state, located right off Main Street. The wooden bridge carries the popular Lake Wobegon Trail across the river, making the town a favorite scenic stop for cyclists, runners, and walkers.

All Saint's Catholic Church (St. Hedwig's)

Daily life here centers on a compact downtown and plenty of community green space. Veterans Park offers a campground, playgrounds, ball fields, and recreation spots, while the historic 1942 Soldiers Shrine sits right in the center of town.
