About Hollidaysburg

Hollidaysburg is a borough and the county seat of Blair County, Pennsylvania, situated along the Juniata River south of Altoona. Founded in 1796 by Irish immigrants Adam and William Holliday, the historic former canal port community of approximately 5,558 is served by the Hollidaysburg Area School District for public primary and secondary education for local students.
