Hooksett is a census-designated place in the town of Hooksett, Merrimack County, New Hampshire. Situated along the west side of the Merrimack River, the community of approximately 5,876 encompasses the town's historic central village where Main Street bridges the river. Public education for local students is administered by the Hooksett School District.
