Hope, NM

Hope is a quiet, small village along Highway 82 in southeastern New Mexico, about 20 miles west of Artesia on the road up toward the Sacramento Mountains. First settled in the late 1800s under the quirky name Badgerville, it today offers a slow, peaceful rural pace with big desert skies. It gives residents a true small-town feel, while local kids head down the road to Artesia Public Schools for classes and community sports.
