Hot Springs Village is a large census-designated place spread across Garland and Saline counties in central Arkansas. Because it crosses county lines, it also sits between the Hot Springs and Little Rock metro spheres. The community is best understood as a planned residential and recreation area rather than a traditional town, with schools split between Fountain Lake and Jessieville districts. Its setting in the Ouachita foothills gives it four distinct seasons, wooded roads, and easy access to the Hot Springs area.
