Hoytsville is a census-designated place in western Summit County, Utah, situated along the Weber River. Named for early settler Samuel Hoyt and first established in 1859 as East Plymouth along the Old Emigrant Trail, the agricultural valley community of approximately 800 is served by the North Summit School District locally.
