Hubbard, TX

Hubbard is a quiet Hill County town sitting at the crossroads of Highway 31 and Highway 171. Historic Victorian homes line several of the older residential streets, and a collection of small city lakes gives locals plenty of spots to fish or relax outdoors. Founded in the late 1800s and named after a Texas governor, the town even had a brief heyday as a booming mineral bath resort after drillers unexpectedly tapped into hot underground springs.

Today, life in Hubbard moves at a peaceful, small-town pace. Residents enjoy a tight-knit community feel, with neighbors gathering for high school games, events at the civic center, and sunny afternoons at the municipal pool. The town's central location also puts you roughly 30 minutes from both Waco and Corsicana, which makes it easy to head into bigger cities for work, shopping, or dining while coming home to quiet Texas countryside.
