Huntsdale, MO

Set right along the Missouri River in Boone County, Huntsdale is a tiny, quiet community best known as a scenic stop for cyclists along the Katy Trail. With only a couple dozen residents, it feels far removed from the rush of daily life while still sitting just fifteen minutes outside Columbia. Outdoor recreation defines the area, from biking the crushed-limestone path to launching a boat or kayak at the Huntsdale Access. It is an easygoing riverside pocket surrounded by limestone bluffs, conservation land, and open Missouri countryside.
