Hurley, NY

Located just west of Kingston in Ulster County, Hurley is a quiet Hudson Valley hamlet known for its deep roots and rural charm. The heart of the community, Old Hurley, is famous for its collection of preserved Dutch stone houses along Main Street, some dating back to the late 1600s. The village even served as the temporary capital of New York during the Revolutionary War after Kingston was burned. Today, around 3,000 residents live across its scenic neighborhoods and farmland near Esopus Creek.
