Ilwaco is a coastal city on Baker Bay in Pacific County, Washington, situated near the mouth of the Columbia River. Established in 1890 as a timber and commercial fishing port near Cape Disappointment State Park, the peninsula community of approximately 1,365 is served by the Ocean Beach School District for public education locally.
