Ione, CA

Ione is an Amador County city in California's Gold Country, set in the rolling foothills southeast of Sacramento. The area is historically tied to the Sierra Miwok people and later to mining, ranching, and small-town development in the Mother Lode region. Modern Ione has a residential inland feel, with older downtown buildings, nearby open land, and access to Amador County wineries and foothill recreation.
