Jefferson is a village and the county seat of Ashtabula County, Ohio, situated within the Cleveland metropolitan area. Founded in 1803 by Gideon Granger as a planned Philadelphia of the West and home to the world's only perambulator museum, the community of approximately 3,522 is served by the Jefferson Area Local School District locally.
