Tucked along the Santiam River between Salem and Albany, Jefferson is a quiet Willamette Valley town that appeals to anyone looking for a slower pace of life. It gives you a small-community feel with around 3,300 neighbors, while still putting you only a 15-minute drive from bigger city amenities and jobs via Interstate 5. The river borders the western edge of town, adding plenty of local charm and scenic spots to fish or unwind by the water.
