About Jeffersonville
Jeffersonville is a village in the town of Cambridge, where the Brewster River meets the Lamoille River. The place started as Cambridge Center and took the Jeffersonville name in 1827, honoring Thomas Jefferson. Vermont Route 15 runs through the village toward Burlington, about 30 miles southwest, while the river junction supplies the real local landmark. Jeffersonville is northern Vermont with a renamed village, a two-river meeting, and a road that follows the valley.
