Joanna is a quiet, close-knit community in eastern Laurens County, South Carolina, nestled along U.S. Route 76 just southeast of Clinton. Originally settled in the 1700s and later known as Martin’s Depot, the town grew around the historic railroad and textile industry that helped shape the Upstate.
