About Johnstown

Johnstown is a city and the county seat of Fulton County, New York, situated in the Mohawk Valley foothills of the Adirondack Mountains. Founded by and named for British colonial general Sir William Johnson, the historic community of approximately 8,111 is served by the Greater Johnstown School District for public primary and secondary education.
