Jones Creek, TX

Jones Creek stretches along Highway 36 between Freeport and Brazoria, shaded by sprawling live oaks and pecan trees. The area has direct ties to early Texas history, centered around the old Peach Point plantation and Gulf Prairie Cemetery, where Stephen F. Austin was originally buried. Today, life here is quiet and residential, offering plenty of breathing room while local kids attend Brazosport ISD schools, including Stephen F. Austin Elementary.
