Jordan, MN

Tucked into the Minnesota River valley southwest of the Twin Cities, Jordan offers a relaxed small-town feel within an easy commute of the metro area. With around 6,700 residents, the community has plenty of open space, scenic bluffs, and direct access to nature trails along the river. Highway 169 runs right past town, giving locals a simple drive to nearby hubs like Shakopee and Prior Lake or further north into Minneapolis.

Founded as a 19th-century milling settlement, Jordan keeps its historic downtown charm while offering plenty of everyday community appeal. Summer evenings often mean catching a Jordan Brewers baseball game at the beloved Mini-Met ballpark, or stopping by the famous bright-yellow Minnesota's Largest Candy Store down the road. Between its local parks, river valley scenery, and friendly atmosphere, it is an inviting Scott County spot to put down roots.
