About Kenilworth
Kenilworth is a tiny and affluent North Shore village on Lake Michigan, north of Chicago. It is the newest of the nine suburban North Shore communities bordering the lake, developed from farmland between the Chicago and North Western Railroad and the shoreline. The village has its own public school district, centered on Joseph Sears School, named for Kenilworth's founder. The Hiram Baldwin House, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1905, adds architectural distinction. Kenilworth feels residential, planned, and unusually exclusive even by North Shore standards.
