About Kenwood Estates
Kenwood Estates is a Palm Beach County census-designated place in the Miami metro, wedged between Greenacres and Palm Springs along Military Trail. The 2020 census counted 1,435 residents. Its boundaries are neighborhood-scale: Attleboro Avenue to Haverhill Road, the L-11 Canal to the south, and the south side of 10th Avenue North to the north. State Road 809 is the spine, giving this small place a direct route through a dense South Florida street grid. The Kenwood development was being advertised by the Wagg Organization as early as 1925, with plans for homes, duplexes, apartments, and a shopping center along Military Trail.
That mix still shows the area's compact residential pattern. The CDP is only a few blocks across, so every edge is easy to feel. West Palm Beach, Greenacres, and Palm Springs sit close around it, while Palm Beach County handles the larger municipal map. Kenwood Estates' local scoop is a tiny place with a clear canal-and-avenue outline and a planned-development story hiding in the Palm Beach suburbs.
