Kingsland is a laid-back Hill Country lake community set where the Llano and Colorado rivers flow into Lake LBJ. With around 7,000 residents, it offers a peaceful small-town pace centered around waterfront living. Because Lake LBJ stays at a constant water level, boating, fishing, and easy access to the water are major draws for newcomers. Ranch to Market Road 1431 runs directly through town, giving residents a simple drive to nearby Marble Falls for major shopping runs and healthcare, or into Austin for big-city amenities.

On warm afternoons, residents often head to The Slab, a favorite river crossing where smooth granite shelves create shallow wading spots along the Llano River. The historic Antlers Inn anchors the town's railroad roots with picturesque grounds, cabins, and a popular local restaurant. For families, the Llano Independent School District serves the community, with younger children attending Packsaddle Elementary right in town and older students making the short trip into Llano for middle and high school.
