Kitty Hawk, NC

Kitty Hawk is a town on Bodie Island in the Outer Banks of Dare County, North Carolina. Established in the early eighteenth century under the Algonquin name Chickahawk, the coastal community of approximately 3,724 is served by Kitty Hawk Elementary School. Public education is administered by the Dare County Schools district.
