Lafe, AR

Lafe is a quiet rural community nestled along Crowley's Ridge in northern Greene County, Arkansas. Home to around 400 residents, the town is surrounded by rolling farmland, scenic country roads, and the gentle valleys around Big Creek. Highways 135 and 34 run right through town, giving locals easy access to Marmaduke to the north and Paragould about fifteen minutes to the south.

Originally settled by German-American families in the late 19th century, Lafe has held onto its close-knit roots over the generations. St. John's Lutheran Church still serves as a central neighborhood anchor and historic landmark. While students attend nearby Marmaduke schools and residents head into Paragould for major shopping or dining, daily life in Lafe centers on open space, friendly neighbors, and a peaceful small-town pace.
