Lake Como is a coastal borough in Monmouth County, New Jersey, situated in the Jersey Shore region. Formerly incorporated as South Belmar in 1924 and renamed in 2005, the tenth-smallest municipality in the state has a population of approximately 1,619 and is served by the Belmar School District for K-8 public education.
