Lake Hiawatha, NJ

Lake Hiawatha is a census-designated place in Parsippany-Troy Hills Township, in eastern Morris County. It sits within Lenapehoking, the traditional territory of the Munsee Lenape, and later developed around the lake community that still gives it its name. Beverwyck Road serves as a central route through the local downtown area. Lake Hiawatha feels like a pocket of lake-oriented suburban life inside a much larger township, with small businesses, homes, and commuter access all close together.
