Landis, NC

Landis is a small town in southern Rowan County, located right between Kannapolis and China Grove and about 30 miles northeast of Charlotte. Home to around 3,100 people, it gives residents a quiet, relaxed pace while keeping them within an easy drive of the region's major job centers. The town grew up around farming and historic textile mills, and you can still see that heritage in its preserved rail depot and downtown area. For outdoor recreation, Lake Corriher Wilderness Park sits right on the edge of town, offering great spots for fishing, kayaking, disc golf, and walking trails.
