About Lansdowne

Lansdowne is a borough in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, situated six miles southwest of Center City Philadelphia. Named for the Marquess of Lansdowne, the residential community of approximately 11,100 grew rapidly in the early twentieth century following the establishment of its railroad station. The borough features a 350-year-old sycamore tree, one of the largest in Pennsylvania, and public education is served by the William Penn School District.
