Le Roy is a village in the town of Le Roy, Genesee County, New York, situated along Oatka Creek. Established in 1812 and named for early landowner Herman Le Roy, the historic community—famous as the birthplace of Jell-O and home to the Jell-O Museum—is served by the Le Roy Central School District locally.
