Leeds, UT

Tucked between the Pine Valley Mountains and the red sandstone cliffs of southwest Utah, Leeds offers quiet, small-town living just fifteen minutes north of St. George. With fewer than a thousand residents, it feels peaceful and removed from the faster pace of the city, even with Interstate 15 right nearby. Originally settled by pioneers in the 1860s who farmed the valley and supplied the nearby Silver Reef mining boom, Leeds has held onto its rural roots. Today, newcomers are drawn by the extra breathing room, slightly cooler elevation than the valley floor, and immediate access to hiking, off-roading, and Zion National Park down the road. It is a relaxed spot for anyone who wants open desert views without giving up an easy commute into town.
