Leonia, NJ

Leonia is a Bergen County borough just west of the George Washington Bridge, close to Fort Lee, Englewood, and New York City. It has deep local history, beginning with Hackensack Native American presence, and a strong cultural streak for a small suburb. The Players Guild of Leonia is known as New Jersey's oldest continuing theater troupe, and Summerstage at Leonia adds to the arts presence. Wood Park and compact residential streets give the borough a local rhythm beyond its commuter location.
