Lisbon is a town in Androscoggin County, Maine, operating within the Lewiston-Auburn metropolitan area. Comprising the villages of Lisbon and Lisbon Falls and drained by the Sabattus and Androscoggin rivers, the community of approximately 3,612 was originally incorporated in 1799 as Thompsonborough and is served by the Lisbon School Department for local education.
