Little River, SC

Little River is a community in Horry County near the North Carolina line, named for the Little River itself. It is one of the older and quieter places along the northern Grand Strand, with fishing, marinas, seafood restaurants, and coastal marshes shaping the feel. The annual Blue Crab Festival each May gives the community a signature event and a strong local flavor. Little River feels salty, relaxed, and slightly apart from Myrtle Beach, even though resort growth is never far away.
