Littlefield is an incorporated city and the county seat of Lamb County, Texas, operating on the Llano Estacado thirty-five miles northwest of Lubbock. Named for rancher George W. Littlefield and famed as a major cotton-producing center and hometown of musician Waylon Jennings, the community of approximately 5,822 is served by Littlefield ISD locally.
