About Lloyd Harbor
Lloyd Harbor is a village on Long Island's North Shore, set on Lloyd Neck in Suffolk County. In 1654, Matinecock Native Americans sold 3,000 acres of what is now Lloyd Neck to English settlers from Oyster Bay, and that peninsula geography still defines the village. Caumsett State Park preserves a large piece of the landscape, while the entire village lies within the Cold Spring Harbor Central School District. Lloyd Harbor feels secluded, wooded, coastal, and very much tied to estate-country Long Island.
