Lochbuie, CO

Lochbuie is a statutory town in Weld and Adams counties, northeast of Denver. It began in the 1960s as the Spacious Living Mobile Home Park, was known as Space City, and incorporated in 1974. That unusual origin still fits a town shaped by housing, commuter growth, and the open plains along Colorado's fast-expanding Front Range. Lochbuie feels practical and young, with subdivisions, highways, schools, oil-and-gas country, and Denver-area growth pressing into what was once a small mobile-home community.
