Lovington is a city and the county seat of Lea County, New Mexico, situated in the eastern plains portion of the state. Home to approximately 11,498 residents, the agricultural and energy-producing community is served by the Lovington Municipal Schools district. Local high school students are zoned to Lovington High School.
