Loxley, AL

Loxley is a Baldwin County town in the Daphne-Fairhope-Foley metro, sitting along U.S. Route 90 between Mobile Bay and the Florida line. It began in 1870 when John Loxley, a man from Chicago, established a lumber camp in what was then known as Bennet. The town is best known locally for the Baldwin County Strawberry Festival each spring. Loxley feels like a small Gulf Coast inland town with highway access, schools, and festival-season identity.
