Lucas, TX

Lucas is a small Collin County city in the northern Dallas-Fort Worth orbit, bordered by Fairview, Allen, Parker, Wylie, St. Paul, and Lavon Lake. The lake edge and open residential feel do much of the work in defining the place. Lucas is also served by an unusually fragmented school map, with multiple school districts and Lucas Christian Academy inside the city. Local recreation is simple and practical, centered on Kenneth R. Lewis Park, Lucas Community Park, fields, walking trails, and pavilion space.
