About Luxora

Luxora is a small city in Mississippi County, Arkansas, situated along the Mississippi River. The community was originally settled in the 1880s as Elmot Landing before being incorporated under its current name. Today, it has a population of around nine hundred residents. Public education is provided by the Rivercrest School District, which operates the Southern Mississippi County Elementary School within the city limits.
