Macclenny, FL

Macclenny is a city and the county seat of Baker County, Florida, situated twenty-eight miles west of downtown Jacksonville. Originally named Darbyville, the community of approximately 7,748 was renamed for Carr Bowers McClenny, who purchased the local timberland in the late nineteenth century. Public education is served by the Baker County School District.
