Maiden is a town in Catawba and Lincoln counties, North Carolina, incorporated in 1883 as a cotton mill site. Named after Maiden Creek and notable as the home of a major Apple iCloud Data Center powered partly by a local solar farm, the community of approximately 3,788 is served by the Catawba County Schools district.
